3D Modeling
I have experience in all facets of the 3D pipeline from modeling, script writing, rigging, and animating to surfacing, texturing, and rendering. I have also used various software that allows for more polished work outside of the native Maya package. Some examples include RenderMan, Substance Designer and Painter, Unreal Engine 4, and Nuke.
Potion Bottle
This piece I used Substance Designer to design the liquid and Substance Painter to surface the the model in a realistic way.
Junkyard Robot

UV map of the robot body.

RenderMan Still Life
To further explore photo-realistic rendering, I modeled a few quick objects to play around with Pixar's RenderMan
PxrSurface materials offer a plethora of rendering possibilities, and I enjoyed reading through the official RenderMan documentation
Lighting setup with Pixar lights
Full shot of scene with cube using Pixar volumetric surface for fog/dust displacement
Dinosaur

Bathroom Scene
For this piece I wanted to recreate realistic lighting through a stained glass bathroom window
I modeled everything in the scene from scratch and textured them using Arnold surfaces
The window took the longest, as I had to recreate the interior metal work with curves and extrude cylinders along them
I used about 7 lights to fully flesh out the 'sun' and it's highlights
